Rob Morgan

Rob is an immersive experience designer, digital dramaturge, and founder of Playlines. As a Lead Game Writer at PlayStation, Rob wrote the first hands-on PlayStationVR demo, and co-wrote with J.K. Rowling the Platinum-selling AR PlayStation title Wonderbook: Book of Spells and its sequel Book of Potions. Rob was also Content Editor for the multi-award-winning mobile game 80 Days (TIME’s Game of the Year 2015).

Rob wrote and narrative-designed the HoloLens experience ‘SlushPolis Story’ (Future of Storytelling Prize 2017) and wrote and voice-directed the acclaimed A Fisherman’s Tale (Game of the Year, VR Awards 2019), as well as writing and dramaturging several acclaimed VR/360° films.

Rob is currently acting as Dramaturge / Digital Dramaturge on new immersive productions for Arts Council Northern Ireland and Teatru Malta. As head of Playlines, Rob co-devised and directed the groundbreaking site-specific AR Grime opera ‘CONSEQUENCES’ (Official Selection, Raindance 2019) with record-breaking rapper Harry Shotta. Rob recently concluded Playlines’ 2020 residency at the National Gallery, and is currently helping to develop new “multichannel curation” tools for museums and galleries.

Muki is a multi-award-winning (BAFTA, BIMA) Executive Digital XR Producer with over two decades creating groundbreaking interactive content for music, broadcasting and tech innovation.

After 10 years pioneering MTV’s first digital platforms in the ‘00s, Muki’s gone on to Executive Produce and revolutionise A-List titles like BBC’s The Voice UK (which included “The Virtual Voice’, the first-ever series of 360°VR for a flagship show), an Angry Birds & Samsung multi-platform experience, a live global interactive show for Marvel’s Iron Man 3 & Skype / Microsoft, and the LBE audio-AR hit ‘Consequences’ for Playlines (BOSE, Raindance, Digital Catapult, FoST).

Muki also sits on Advisory Boards and committees for SXSW, Abbey Road Studios Spatial Audio Forum, Audio Engineering Society, IBC, UK-5G Innovation Network, Women in Immersive Tech & more.
